"I just can't handle failing again”.
 
The women I work with, before we started working together have gained and lost the same 10, 20, 50, 100 pounds over and over again. I have so much respect for every single person who puts their hand up and says "I'm willing to try again”.
 
And it can take so much courage to start again.

On August 11, 2013, while watching a Lifetime movie home alone, Lori Massicot made one decision that changed the trajectory her entire life. She had two bottles of Chardonnay ready to go, and made a drastic move not to drink them dry. Lori had been drinking for 30 years. 
 
Since that day, she changed her life, not because she quit drinking, but because she started living.
 
After listening to many episodes of “To 50 and Beyond”, Lori’s podcast, I reached out to invite Lori onto the Fit + Vibrant You Podcast- not necessarily to talk about sobriety (though we do talk about this)but about transforming your life.
 
Join us for a candid conversation on:
  • The limiting beliefs that stop you from taking action or that sabotage your efforts to get to your goal
  • How to deal with friends and family who don’t support you- namely those who push food or alcohol on you

Lori is a Life Coach specializing in sobriety, mindset transformation, and holistic wellness. She is  an advocate for aging happy, healthy and confident, and free. She has a certification in Nutrition Coaching, and is the host of the To 50 & Beyond podcast. In 2018, she founded Real Aligned Women who is the founder of National Sober Day on September 14th each year.

Do you ever feel resentful? Annoyed? Irritated? Not heard? Um…. yes 🙋‍♀️
 
So many women feel these things, but then don’t know what to do next, so they just stew in the emotion, they checking out of the relationship, hold a grudge, or cope with food. 
 
But feelings are there for a reason; they are telling us something. Often these feelings are telling us that our boundaries have been crossed. 
 
Many people don’t know that a boundary has been crossed, and if they do know, they are not sure how to speak up for themselves. Or, they question whether or not their boundary is valid(I’m just being emotional, I shouldn’t feel that way).
 
I invited Susie Pettit (pronounced “pet it”… I asked 🙂) on the Fit + Vibrant You Podcast to share her wisdom on how to set boundaries and speak up for yourself so that you can live a life that you love. 
 
Susie (Barolo) Pettit has been helping women live lives they love for over 10 years. She is the host of the podcast Love Your Life Show and owner of the Wellness Company Strength: Mind & Body, LLC. She is a certified Life + Wellness Coach and a mom of 3 teenage sons.
 
Susie is passionate about helping women live lives that feel as good on the inside as they look on the outside. She spent more than half her life living a life she did not love; as a people pleaser, codependent perfectionist, trying desperately to win an award for ‘Martyr of the Year’.
 
Luckily she hit rock bottom and now has the breadth of experience to teach first hand about setting healthy boundaries, beating your inner critic, conscious parenting, and how to use mindfulness-based tools to beat overwhelm and anxiety.

Hit a weight loss stumbling block?
